It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of the late Brian Maxwell announce his passing on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at The Moncton Hospital, NB. Leaving to mourn with cherished and loving memories his siblings: Terry (Jocelyn), Pauline, and Darlene (Herb) Johnson. Niece - Terri Jane (Darcy), nephews Matthew (Lindsay), Jason, and Brandon; great niece-Halle; aunt Kerry Leggo and a circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Val Maxwell; grandparents Maude and Wallace Hiscock and John and Gertrude Maxwell including a large array of aunts and uncles.

A heartfelt thank you to his great friends in Moncton who provided him outstanding support and assistance in his time of need. A special thanks to his exceptional work-family Natasha Mitton and the ALLSCO team; friends Amanda Macpherson; Linda and Lucien LaPointe in Moncton for their extraordinary kindness, compassion and on-going support. Brian (Newfie) gave very high praises to you all and you all held a special place in his heart.

At Brian's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. He will be laid to rest at Mount Patricia Cemetery with a private family gathering. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gathering Place in St. John's, NL.

A heart of Gold stopped beating,
