It is with great sadness that the family of the late Brian Patrick Gushue announce his peaceful passing at the Western Long Term Palliative Care Unit on December 1st, 2025 at the age of 72. He leaves to mourn his wife of 51 years Gail, Sons: Alan (Marie), Justin and his fur buddy Finn, Sisters: Sharon (John) And Cathy, Niece and Nephews: Holly (Nelson), Rick (Olga), Jordan and great nephew Nathan, Brother and sister in-laws Rich Curtis, Fay and Wayne Oates, Rosalind Williams and Sandra Parsons as well as a large circle of other family, nieces, nephews and Friends.

Brian was predeceased by his parents Alex and Sheila Gushue and sister Rosemary.

Brian enjoyed the simple things in life but He was at his best in the outdoors. His deepest passion was hunting in his favorite hunting grounds and wetting his line on the salmon rivers. These passions were passed down to him by his own father which he was then able to pass down to his own sons.

In following with Brian's wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no formal visitation or service. As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Brian's memory to a charity of one's choice.

The family would like to thank the staff at the palliative care unit for their compassion and support during Brian's final days.
