Cantwell
February 20, 1947 – December 23, 2024
Brenda (nee Park) Cantwell passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 23rd, 2024. Brenda leaves to mourn, her spouse of 54 years and husband since June 1st 1978, Kevin Cantwell… Children, Sylvia (Dave), Michael (Pascale), Angie, Shirley (Scott), and Bill (Chantelle).
Brenda will be dearly missed by her sisters Doreen, Lois (Claude), Josephine (Dave), Betty, Edna (Gerald), and brothers Henry (Betty), William, Llewellyn (Nancy).
"Nan" will be missed by her grandchildren Kenny, Kayla, Alexander, Damien, Angel, Christopher, Brittany, Joey, Michael, Liam, and Shane.
Dearest to her were her great grandchildren Caleb, Christopher, Skylar, Jaydon, Callum, Bowen, Abigail, Atlas, and Caspian.
Brenda was predeceased by her father Henry, mother Myrtle (nee Coates); her brothers Eldred, Ross, Percy, and Wilfred, as well as her sister Mary.
Also left to mourn are her extended family of step children (3), grandchildren (5) great grandchildren (5), her aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins of which there are too many to count.
Brenda was a kind soul, who loved caring for children and was a mother to many more than her own. Close to her heart were her granddaughter Kayla and her niece Adrianna. They were like daughters and were Brenda's angels; giving her hope, comfort, and care in her final days.
There will be a visitation taking place on Monday, January 6th, 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 12 PM - 2 PM. There will be no formal funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date.
