It is with profound sadness, and heavy hearts that the family of the late Brenda Wheaton Brown announce her peaceful passing, surrounded by her family in Conception Bay South, on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, at the age of just 61 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband: Jim Brown; children: Ashley (Brody), Neil (Denise), and Jennifer (Tim); grandchildren: Brooke, Lily, Reid, and Allison; mother: Mae Pittman Chippett; father: Clayton Wheaton (Sue); father-in-law: Enos Brown; her loving sister: Gail (Bobby); brothers: Paul (Donna), and Sylas (Trudy); sister-in-law: Karen (Clyde); brother-in-law: Kevin (Elaine); her nephews, and nieces: Adam, Randy, Dallas, D.J., Kimberly, Hailey, Brittany; as well her extended family, and many friends.

Brenda is predeceased by her mother-in-law: Patricia Brown; and step-father: Ralph Chippett.

At Brenda's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held at Country Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 10 AM, from where the funeral service will take place at 11 AM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Brenda's memory to the Cushing Support Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or a charity of one's choice.
