It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty Burton (Hoddinott) announce her passing on February 28 ^th , 2023 at her private residence in her 68 ^th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband: Lorne Burton; their children: Jennifer Wells (Steven), Roger Burton (Bette), Randy Burton (Amanda), Linda Strickland, and Darrell Burton (Heather); her grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jessica, Chloe, Olivia, Nathan, Mitchell, and Samantha; her great-grandchildren: Jaron, and Kaden; brothers and sisters: Rubena Ivany, Linda Parsons, Dave Hoddinott (Veronica), Terry Hoddinott, and Curtis Hoddinott (Kim); as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Betty is predeceased by her parents: Clarence and Elizabeth Hoddinott.

There will be a visitation held on Sunday, March 5 ^th , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Monday, March 6 ^th , 2023 in the Country Haven Chapel with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Betty's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
