It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benjamin Albert Knee announce his passing on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 91 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife: Maudie Knee (nee. Baldwin), the love of his life for 66 years; and his sons: Gary Knee (Kristi), Terry Knee (David), and Brian Knee (Jamie); grandchildren: Christpher Knee (Logan), Trevor Knee (Tim), Nathan Knee, and Jonah Knee; brothers: Wilfred (Peggy) Knee, and Frank (Joan) Knee; sisters: Jean (Frank) Pilgrim, Audrey (Ray) Rowe, Doreen (Max) Sturge, and Dorothy (Aubrey) Budgell; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Benjamin was predeceased by his parents: Benjamin and Janie Knee; sisters: Ena (George) Shirran, Effie (Harold) Ward, Pearl (Hubert) West, Mae (Wallace) Burt, and Beatrice (Winston) Burt; and brothers: Douglas (Donna) Knee, and Robert Knee.

There will be a visitation taking place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home from 2:00-3:30 PM, from where the funeral service will be taking place at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 1 in the Country Haven Chapel with Lieutenant Colonels Audrey and Ray Rowe officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Benjamin's memory to a charity of one's choice.
