It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Joan Stone announce her peaceful passing on January 23 ^rd , 2023 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center in her 75 ^th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 55 years: Edward; siblings: Ruth Simms (Ernest), Gloria Knee, Robert Knee (Karen), Brian Knee, and Jocelyn Perrier (Fred); her 2 nieces: Nicole, and Carissa; 6 nephews: Jason, Philip, Robert, Cory, Neil, and Jean-Paul. As well as a large circle of other relatives, and friends.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents: Ephraim and Thelma Knee.

As per Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 from 1 PM - 2 PM, from where the funeral service will take place in the Country Haven Chapel at 2:30 PM with Rev. Cynthia Hanes Turner officiating. Interment to take follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Barbara's memory to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
