It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aubrey Douglas Allen announce his passing at the palliative care unit of Western Long Term Care Home on Sunday October 16 ^th 2022 at the age of 87 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Phyllis, Son: Colin (Bev), Daughter: Nirece (Errol) Flynn. Grandchildren: Justin (Julie), Sharmane, Shakira (Greg), Anissa (Mo). Step-Grandchildren: Stephen (Sara), Wendy (Mark), Carson, Kevin (Carling), Great-Grandchildren: Skylar and Ashton. Step-Greatgrandchildren: Elanna and Jack. Sister: Helen (Walter). Sister-in-laws: Marjorie, Jessie, Frankie (Michael) and Brother-in-law: John (Helen).

He was predeceased by his parents James and Mariah Allen, and brother Gerald Allen.

A service of remembrance will take place at Memorial United Church, Curling Street on Thursday October 20, 2022 at 11 AM with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.  Following the interment, there will be a reception held at the Westmount Club 10 Herald Avenue from 2-4 pm.

As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request, memorial donations to a charity of one's choice will be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank-you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of palliative care and to Aubrey's two cousins Larry O' Quinn and Thelma Lockyer for all their support and visits every day.
