It is with profound sadness the family of the late Arthur Chesley Wiseman announce his passing at the palliative care unit in Corner Brook NL. on September 26th 2026 at the age of 97 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Doris (nee King), his daughter; Wanda. Step-son; Randy (Doreen). Brother; Fred (Leah), Morley (Linda). Sisters-in-law; Nettie Wiseman, and Mary Wiseman. Brothers-in-law; Lloyd (Hollis) Adey and Eugene (Pearl) Adey. Step-grandsons; Jason (Jenn) King, Jeff (Jenna) King. Step-granddaughter Ashley (Aaron) Sheppard. Great grandsons; Kaden King, Kaiser King, Camden Sheppard, Jake Sheppard, Gage King. As well as a huge circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is predeceased by his first wife: Violet (nee. Adey); sister; Clara (Jehu) Benson, Merida (Roy) Rex, Edna (Jimmy) Flaherty. Brothers; Herb (Lucy), Eugene and Vernon Wiseman. Brother-in-law Ern (Jesse) Adey. Sister-in-law; Lilly Adey and Florence (George) Knott.

Thank-you to the staff on 5C and Palliative Care units of Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Your care, compassion and kindness were greatly felt and appreciative during our dear father/husbands stay.

There will be a visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday September 29th 2026 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday September 30, 2026 @ 2PM from the Country Haven Chapel with Majors Brian & Valarie Wheeler officiating. Flowers are graciously accepted or a donation can be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice. The funeral service will be live streamed on Country Haven Funeral Home's Facebook page 10 minute's before service starts.
