It is with great sadness that the family of the late Archibald (Arch) Stanford announce his passing on Jan 8th, 2025 at the Corner Brook Western Long Term Care Center (Palliative).

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Howard (Marilyn), Gary (Mary-Deceased), Wanda Hynes, Derek (Delilah-deceased), Beverly Cooper (Cliff) and Karen Woolfrey (Dennis).

Grand-children; Douglas (Deb), Stanford, Natalie Hynes, Gregg Hynes, Marc (Megan) Cooper, Stephen (Jennifer) Cooper, Brad (Jamie-lee) Woolfrey and Erika (Robbie) Squires. Step Grand-children; Angela Walden and Tracey Sheppard. Great Grand-children; Riley Stanford, Gavin Stanford, Alexandria Moss, Daniel Stuart, Corbin Hynes, George Hynes, Alexandria Cooper, Glen Cooper, Jacob Cooper, Nathan Woolfrey, Noah Woolfrey and Marlie Squires. Sister-in-law; Elizabeth Brinston.

Archibald was predeceased by his loving wife Florence (Best) Stanford. Siblings; George Brinston, Harold (Ida) Stanford, Gertie (Jim) Reid and Inez (Wallace) Little.

Per Arch's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home on Friday January 10th 2025 from the hours of 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm from where the Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Friday January 10th 2025 at 2:00 pm with Rev Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. Flowers are graciously accepted, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson's Society or the Cancer Society.
