Annie Esther Hollahan
May 21, 1949 - September 16, 2021
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Annie Hollahan announce her very peaceful passing, surrounded by her loved ones, at the Western Long Term Care Palliative Unit in Corner Brook on September 16, 2021, at the age of 72 years.
She leaves to mourn with loving memories, her best friend and husband of 52 years, Kevin; her beloved children Anne Solo (Tony), Kelly Hollahan, and Bill Hollahan (Niki) and her cherished grandchildren of whom she was so proud: Alyssa and Colby Christopher and Sage and Malach Hollahan; her smiley granddog Jango and cuddly grandcat Tommy; sister Frances Elson (Alan), a large circle of very special nieces and nephews (and their children and grandchildren) who Aunt Annie loved very much; in-laws who are lifelong friends and in recent years became travel buddies: Ed Hollahan, Pat Cosman and Linda Hollahan; in-laws Audrey and Johnny Johnson and Mary and Calvin Leslie; many wonderful friends from her Bayview Heights gang, the Bonne Bay Pond crew and the Weight Watchers girls; special girlfriends Dorothy Childs, Ruby Parizeau, Faye Davis and her besties: Debbie Sweet and Debbie Murray.
She was predeceased by her precious first grandchild Cameron Christopher, parents William and Anne Pearce; brothers: Patrick, Gerald (Bridget), Leonard and Bernard; sisters Rosemary (Bob Coady), Catherine (Simon Tucker) and Bridget (Ken Small).
The family would like to send a sincere thank you to the nurses and doctors of the Western Long Term Palliative Care Unit, as well, thank you to Dr. Wadhwa for being a true family physician and friend.
Our days will never be the same without her sweetness, love, comedy and way with words. Her strength, light, love for family and unwavering faith will live on. The memories made will stay with us and be cherished through the years ahead. The love and positivity shared within her family, individually and with each other will be her legacy.
