Sending out heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported my family and me during the recent passing of my Aunt Annie, "Sis".

The kindness shown in your thoughtful messages, phone calls, cards, gifts of food, donations to the NL West SPCA in her memory and your presence with us in person and in heart will be remembered always.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bolous and all of the staff at DVA, Corner Brook Long Term Care for all of your years support and care. She could not have been in better hands.

Thank you to Rev. Mickton and Karen Michael for the beautiful service; to Amy, Darren, David, Kelly, Paul, and Rodney for being her pallbearers; and to Dwayne, Jamie, and the staff of Country Haven for your guidance .

We are so blessed and grateful to have had her in our lives for such a long time. She is deeply missed.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Mariah Dennis (Wentzell) announce her passing on April 3rd 2024 at the age of 94 years, after a lengthy stay at the Corner Brook Long Term Care. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of memories her niece and namesake; Annie Wentzell (Paul Wylezol), her sisters-in-law; Edna Wentzell, Vonnie Dennis, Laurie Dennis. Her brothers-in-law; Bern Dennis (Vera), Gerald Janes (Dorothy). Special friends; Rodney, Amy, and David Billard, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews from the Dennis family, other relatives and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband; Francis John (Frank) Dennis, parents; Hugh and Clara Wentzell, parents-in-law; George and Martha Dennis, brother John Wentzell, brothers and sisters-in-law; George Dennis (Marg), Dave Dennis (Nancy), Derek Dennis, Bruce Dennis, Betty Green (Whitfield), Maisie Tarbett (Harry), Geraldine Brake (Bill), Patricia Janes, and Ada Dennis.

Annie was born and raised in Portland Creek, NL. In the early 1950s she moved to Corner Brook and in 1956 joined Eaton's where she was a fixture until its closure and her subsequent retirement. After Frank's retirement, they continued to enjoy many years at their cabin in Bonne Bay Pond until his passing in 2008.

At this time the family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bolous and the staff at the DVA, Corner Brook Long Term Care, for your years of support and care. You became her other family.

There will be a visitation on Saturday April 6th 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home at 1PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2PM with Rev. Micton officiating. Immediately following the funeral service there will be an interment service at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
