It is with great sadness that the family of the late Angus John Marks Sr. announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 in his 96th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his son: Angus L. Marks; grandchildren: Victoria Morrow (Sean), Heidi Marks (Adam), and Jessica Ivany (Tony); great-grandchildren: Darcy Morrow, Rory Morrow, and Theodore "Theo" Marks; as well as a large circle of other relatives, his close friends: The Sullivans (Carl, Janet, Kelly, and Scott); and his Masonic Brotherhood (CB Lodge 11).

Angus is predeceased by his wife: Ruth Beatrice Marks (nee. Jeans); their son: Wade J. H. Marks; his parents: Rev. John H. Marks and Mildred W. Marks (nee. Brown); and his siblings: Mary Marks, Angelia Palchuk, Llewellyn Marks (Bernice), Arthur Marks (Bun), and Frank Marks (Helen).

At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be a vistiation held at 2 PM on Sunday, November 26th, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from where the funeral service will take place at 3 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Mickton officiating. Interment to be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Angus' memory to the Western Memorial Hospital Foundation.
