It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Tony Donahue, age 80, of Halfway Point on June 11, 2024.

Tony will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years Hilda (Hickey) Donahue; sister Sharon Barnes (Kevin); daughters Lisa (Kerry) and Connie (Joe); son Anthony (Anne Marie); grandchildren Scott (Brandi), Andrew (Victoria), Shawna (Riley), Shelby (Dallas), Emily, Trudy; great-grandchildren Avarie, Austin, Grace, and Camryn; sisters in-law Gloria, Loretta, Maureen, Rose, and Carolyn (Blair); brothers in-law Lloyd (Grace), Chris (Connie), Brian (Roxanne), Clayton (Julie), and Ross. Tony also leaves behind daughter in-law Joanne; many nieces and nephews; many friends; special friends Bern Pennell, Kenny King, Deano Reid; and fur baby Brody.

Predeceased by his parents Frank and Frances Donahue; father and mother-in-law William and Clara Hickey; brother Ned Donahue; brothers in-law Lester, Bill, Howard, and Pat; sister-in-law Philomena.

Tony will be remembered for his dry humour, kind and gentle nature, love of family, and generous heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will be a visitation taking place on Friday, June 14th, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM, with a prayer with Father Lee Lainey taking place at 8:30 PM. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Tony's memory to your local SPCA.
