It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amadore Neil announce his passing on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 61 years: Marina Neil; children: Barry (Diana), David (Elaine), and Carey (Paula); grandchildren: Sabrina Zimmer (Andy), Thorsten Arnswald (Jessica), and Brandon Neil (Katelin); great-grandchild: Taylor Zimmer; siblings: Pauline Fudge (Malcolm), Rhoda Parsons (Garland), Yvonne Pittman (Dave), Bride Harding (Lloyd), and Jacqueline Hynes (David); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Amadore is predeceased by his parents: John and Edith Neil; baby brother: Charles; and granddaughter: Sara.

There will be a visitation taking place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Friday, June 7th, 2024 at 1 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Mickton officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Amadore's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Parkinsons Canada.
