It is with great sadness the family of the late Alonzo “Lonze” Patey announce his sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday May 22, 2026 at the age of 88 years on his 65th wedding anniversary.

He will be forever remembered and loved by his children; Ray (Bella), Vivian (Garland), Diane, Madeline (Spencer), Fenton (Katrina), Jennifer (Amos) and Camille. Grandchildren; Chad (Cathy), Darcy (Stephanie), Nathan (Heather), Damien (Laurie), Jenny, Dominic, Elaina (Danny), Dylan (Nikita), and Jonathan (Kendra). Great-Grandchildren; Winter-Lee, Emily, Mitchell, Natalie, Alexis, Joshua, Amie, Lily, Lucy, Andrea, Ella, Blake, Laura and Adrian. Great-great-granddaughter: Amari; His siblings; Peter (Rita). Joan, Levi (Kay). Seymour (Elaine), Phyllis (Dean), Harrison (Sherry), Lillian (Cecil) and Valerie (Randy), as well as a large circle of family and friends.

He is predeceased by his wife Hepsey (House) Patey. His parents; Earl and Lucy Patey. Parents-in-law; Grant and Sarah House. Grandchildren; Shelley-Lee Taylor, and Stephanie Patey. Baby brothers; Leoma and Earl. Daughter-in-law; Gaye Murrin.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and an interment will take place at a later date. No flowers by request, instead a donation to the Janeway can be made in his honour.
