Allastair Claude Wheaton

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Allastair Claude Wheaton announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long-Term Care Center on Monday, August 31st, 2026 at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his brothers: Tom (Isabel), Tony, Jack, Bruce, and Clayton (Sue); and his sisters: Joan (Roland), Geraldine, and Sandra; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Allastair was predeceased by his parents: Claude and Rhoda; and siblings: Shirley, Patsy, and Ted.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, a donation can be made in Allastair’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
