It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alice Elizabeth Payne (nee. Roberts) announce her passing on Monday, January 1st, 2024 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care in her 76th year of age. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 53 years: Robert; their children: Robert Jr. (Gerri), Shelley Campbell (Richie), and Shirley Payne (Doug MacDonald); grandchildren: Jessica, Meghan, Daniel, Meranda, Lucas, Robbie, and Michael; great-grandchildren: Raelynn, Austin, Isabell, Lucas, Riley, Anna, Tyler, Tenley, Waylon, and Lilly; and her siblings: Scott (Sandra), Warren, Otto (Annie), Melinda Bryant (Tony), Hedley (Lisa), Lawrence (Christine), and Max (Kate); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Alice is predeceased by her parents: John & Sarah Roberts; and her brother: Lindsey.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Thursday, January 4th, 2024 in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation may be made in Alice's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada (alzheimer.ca).
