It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfred Pittman (Fred) announce his passing at the Western Long-Term Care Palliative Care Unit on April 25, 2021, at the age of 56 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son, Jonathan and daughter Madelyn, his mother Mildred Pike, along with his siblings: Glenn Pittman, Wanda Trainor (Dave), Myrtius Pittman, Donna Davis (Allister), Jim Pittman, Roger Pittman, and Lorraine Burry (Juan), 13 Nieces and Nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.  He is predeceased by his brothers, David Pittman and Glendon Simmons, his father, Stanley Pittman, stepfather Leslie Pike Sr, and grandparents.  Cremation has taken place. By invitation only due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family viewing and funeral service will be held at the Country Haven Funeral Home on Friday, April 30, 2021, with Major Frank Pittman officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.

We extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital and the Western Long Term Care Palliative Care Unit for their exemplary care and compassion during Fred's illness.
