It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfred Robert "Bob" Berkshire announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, January 7 ^th , 2023 at the age of 80 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Judy (Byron Wheeler), Linda (Chris Sheehan), and Maureen; son: Robert ; step-grandson: Devon; and granddog: Kia; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Bob is predeceased by the love of his life, Dollena; parents: Ida and Alfred; and brother and sisters: Bill, Maude, Hazel, Hilda, and Ada.

In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, January 11 ^th , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 12 ^th , 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Catherine Short officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Bob's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association ( https://www.diabetes.ca/ ).

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hanoosh, the nurses, nursing students, housekeeping, and dietary staff who treated our father with the utmost respect, and even made him laugh during some difficult times. Your compassion and empathy will never be forgotten. Also, a special thank you to family and friends for all of their well wishes and thoughts of Dad during these last few months. You are all appreciated so much.

The Family are welcoming all friends and family to join them at Judy's house following the service for a celebration of life at 4:30.
