Alexander Alfred
Norman Anstey
July 31, 1990 – March 5, 2026
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Alexander Alfred Norman Anstey announce his untimely passing on Thursday, March 5th, 2026 at the age of 35 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories, his loving parents: Alfred and Anne Anstey; siblings: Laura (Mark), Michael (Lynnann), Aaron (Krysta), Amy (Lukas), and Maxine; nieces and nephews: Nathan, William, Kate, Grace, Liam, Jude, Felix, and Sylvie; and special aunts and uncles: Bert (Judy), Joan (Bob), and Philomena (Kevin); as well as many extended family members.
Alex loved to play board games with his family, strumming and picking his guitar, watching movies, playing Magic: The Gathering, and many other video games. Alex was smart, quiet, and loved his family very much. He made the best cookies! He had a very special relationship with his parents, who he loved so much. He loved to ski, and spent much time doing so with his father, Alfred. In more recent years they enjoyed snowshoeing and playing soccer. Alex loved shooting hoops in the back yard with his bros and he always looked up to his big sisters. He loved playing scrabble and scattergories with his mother, Anne. A gentle soul gone far too soon. Rest in peace, Alex.
There will be a visitation taking place for family and friends at Country Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 from the hours of 7-9 PM, from where the celebration of Alex's life will take place at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 in the Country Haven Chapel. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date.
