It is with great sadness the family of the late Alex Humber announce his peaceful passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Saturday May 24, 2025 at the age of 79.

He leaves to mourn with special and loving memories his wife of 58 years; Flossie. His children; Sandra (Glen), Jeff (Janice), and Sherri (Monty). His grandchildren; Jenna, Mark, Jayme, and David. His sisters; Maxine, Phylis (Wayne), Janice (Dave), Doris, Nora and his brother; Robert (Karen). His sisters-in-law; Vivian (Lloyd), Gladys (Henry), Ruby (Lloyd) and Hughena.

Alex is predeceased by his parents; Ben and Margaret Humber. His sister; Suzanne. His parents-in-law; Mary and Clyde Bennett. His sister-in-law; Shirley Ellsworth and brother-in-law; Hounsell Payne.

At Alex's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation taking place on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM, and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be taking place at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Bart van Roijen officiating.. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. No flowers by request, a donation in Alex's honour can be made to Alzheimer's Society.  The family wishes to express a special appreciation to the staff and doctors of the Corner Brook Long Term Care 2 North Unit during the time Alex was there.
