It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ada Elizabeth Jane Russell announce her passing on Friday April 26th 2024 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook NL. at the age of 65 years.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 44 years Bramwell John Russell. Her daughter; Nicolle Ada Russell (Cory McKinnon), Grandchildren; Kyle (Samantha) and Tristan. She could be heard saying "Out of all the little boys in the world, I chose you!" to them both. A large number of nieces and nephews; Tina, Ricky, Tracy, Candice, Christopher, Stacey, Steven, Danielle, and Andrew. Her uncle; Angus Janes, as well as a large circle of many other relatives and many close friends.

She is predeceased by her parents; Charles and Marion Janes, her sister; Linda Sheppard. Her parents-in-law; John Charles and Clarice Russell.

Ada was an extremely positive person and was very happy-go-lucky all the time, despite her battling with Multiple Sclerosis daily for many years. She was always the one who was there to encourage those who spent time in her presence, they would always leave uplifted and in a good mood.

To all the angels at the Western Long Term Care Facility; the doctors, nurses, and all the staff who cared for Ada during her stay, the family wishes to express a heartfelt thank-you to each and every one of you.

At her request, cremation has taken place, there will be a visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday April 30th 2024 from the hours of 7-9PM. There will be no formal funeral service or committal service at this time. No flowers by request, as expressions of sympathy, donations in Ada's memory can be made to Multiple Sclerosis.
